Omega 3-6-9 is a blend of flaxseed, evening primrose, rapeseed, blackcurrant and pumpkin seed oils. Now Foods combines these well-known nutritional oils to create a balanced ratio of Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids. Omega-3, alpha linolenic acid (ALA) and omega-6, GLA, play an important role in maintaining healthy skin and immune system function.
Dietary oleic acid, a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, is associated with healthy cardiovascular function. Each serving may also contain the following naturally occurring amounts of polyunsaturated fat and monounsaturated fat:
Omega 3 [alpha linolenic acid (ALA)] 45%; Omega 6 [linolenic acid and gamma linolenic acid (GLA)] 26.5%; Omega 9 [oleic acid] 17.5%; Others (short-chain fatty acids, saturated fats, phospholipids, etc.) 11%
Ingredients in a serving of 2 softgel capsules (Number of servings per container: 50): Calories 20; Total fat 2g (3%*), saturated fat <0.5g (2%*); Polyunsaturated fats 1.5 g **; Monounsaturated fats <0.5 g **; Flaxseed oil (cold-pressed, organic) 1.4 g (1,400 mg)**; Evening primrose oil (cold pressed) (seeds) 300 mg **; Rapeseed oil (cold pressed, non-GMO) (seed) 260 mg **; Black currant (cold pressed) (seeds) 20 mg **; Pumpkin oil (cold pressed) 20 mg; *- Daily reference value of income; **- The daily reference value of income is not established.
Other ingredients: Softgel capsules (beef gelatin, glycerin, water, caramel color, carob powder).
Not made with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, rye or shellfish. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other products containing these allergens.
Dosage: 2 capsules daily with food.
