Chitosan is a polysaccharide obtained from crustacean shells that can bind to fat and cholesterol in the digestive tract, helping to keep cholesterol levels already within a healthy range. NOW® Chitosan contains LipoSan ULTRA®, a unique high-density form of chitosan that binds up to five times more fat than conventional chitosan in laboratory testing. A clinical study has shown that LipoSan ULTRA® can help support a healthy body weight. Chromium, a mineral essential for normal glucose metabolism, has been added to complete this formula.

Composition in a dose of 3 vegetable capsules: Chromium (from chromium nicotinate glycinate) (TRAACS®) 300 mcg (750%*), Chitosan (LipoSan ULTRA®) 1.5 g (1,500 mg) ** ; **- The daily reference value of income is not established.

Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetable capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.

Contains molluscs/crustaceans (shrimp).

Not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish or nuts.

Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Dosage: 3 capsules just before the two main meals of the day. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.

Use in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program.

Take at least 4 hours before or after taking fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) or medications.

Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to molluscs/shellfish.

It should not be used by pregnant and lactating women.

For adults only. If you are taking medication or have a medical condition, consult your doctor before use.

Keep out of reach of children. It is not a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
