Digestive enzymes are essential for the absorption and full utilization of food in the body. The body's ability to produce enzymes decreases with age, and therefore the efficiency of digestion decreases. NOW Papaya Enzyme Lozenges have a refreshing taste and support digestion when taken after a meal. The chewable lozenges are made from whole, unripe, dried papaya powder and protease, cellulase and lipase have been added for a full spectrum of full enzyme activity.

Composition in a dose of 2 chewable tablets: Calories 5; Total carbohydrate content 2 g (<1%*); Sugar alcohols (sorbitol and mannitol) 1 g**; Papain (from papaya) (2000 USP/mg) 100 mg **; Papaya (fruit powder) 80 mg**; Bromelain (from pineapple) (2400 GDU/g) 20 mg **; Protease (5000 FCC/g) 20 mg **; Lipase (10,000 USP/g) 2 mg **; Cellulase (4000 FCC/g) 0.6 mg **; Alpha-amylase (25,000 USP/g) 2 mg**; *- Percent daily values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet; **- The daily intake reference value has not been established.

Other Ingredients: Stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide, peppermint leaf powder, peppermint oil, and copper chlorophyllin sodium (chlorophyll).

Not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish or nuts.

Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Dosage: Chew or dissolve 2 lozenges in the mouth after a meal or as needed.
