Tru-C contains vitamin C mainly from the acerola plant, a fruit native to South America, also known as the Barbados cherry. Acerola has one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C in nature, with a content that is approximately 100 times higher than that of an orange. Acerola also contains naturally occurring carotenoids and flavonoids, which together with vitamin C support immune and vascular health and give acerola good properties for neutralizing free oxygen radicals. In addition to acerola, this product also contains a unique mixture of fruits and vegetables. All vitamin C is therefore only from natural sources.
